Research Area

Paleobotany, palynology and terrestrial stratigraphy:

(1) through the Angara floras on the main terreins and the Permo-Carboniferous stratigraphy in northern China to reconstruct the evolution of Central Asia Orogeny Belt and climate changes during Penndylvanian and Permian time;

(2) by using the foliar physiognomy, phytoecological and phytogeographical tools to understand the Mesozoic greenhouse climate and the strategy of the plant response.
