Cooperation

The Key-Lab has widely made the international exchange and cooperation with the institutions from 21 countries of the world, including USA, Germany, Russia, Japan, UK, France, Belgium, Korea, DPR Korea, etc. , and the regions of Hong Kong and Taiwan of China. For the last five years, the Lab organized 5 Int’l symposia including the “The 12th Symposium on Mesozoic Terrestrial Ecosystems(MET-12)”(2015),“The Int’l Symposium on Cretaceous Biota and K-Pg boundary in Jiayin,China”(2019) “The 4th Int’l Symposium on Geosciences in Northeastern Asia”(2019), etc., which has widely influenced to the scientific circle in the world.
The laboratory members conduct extensive domestic and foreign academic exchanges. During the evaluation period, more than 200 people attended domestic academic conferences, more than 60 people went abroad to attend conferences, and 29 foreign experts (including 3 foreign academicians) came to the laboratory to carry out cooperation and exchanges and gained national There are 2 international cooperation projects of the Natural Science Foundation of China, and 1 project of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs 111 Introduction Base Project. Sun Ge was invited to "MET-12" and "The 28th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Paleontology" to give special lectures. Sun Chunlin and Na Yuling were invited to participate in the "2nd Joint Conference Palaeontological Society of China & Palaontologische Gesellschaft" and gave keynote speeches. Xu Wenliang was invited to participate in the "AOGS 11th Annual Meeting" and gave a theme report.
Cui Yinqiu served as the invited expert of the Chinese side of the project "Joint Archaeological Excavation and Research in the Ergen Obo Cemetery of Gilgalangtu Sumu, Orkhon, Mongolia" (2019).
Wang Pujun and others jointly applied for the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program "Cretaceous Deep Drilling in Songliao Basin (Songke 2 Well)" project, which was jointly funded by the International Continental Scientific Drilling Commission (ICDP) and the Bureau of Geological Survey.
The "Asia Module of the Global Health History Program" applied by Zhu Hong and Zhang Quanchao was launched in Jilin University in 2018.
