About the speaker: Na Yuling, lecturer of the Research Center of Paleontology and Stratigraphy of Jilin University, studied in University of Florida in 2013-2014 as a state-sponsored joint doctoral student, and obtained her doctorate in paleontology and stratigraphy of Jilin University in 2015.He is mainly engaged in the study of terrestrial plant ecosystems in northern China, with specific directions involving taxonomy of paleoplant systems, palynology, plant paleogeography, paleoclimatology, and the co-evolutionary relationship between plants and other organisms.  The team came up with a team from the Palaeobotany and Palynology, Palynology, the International Journal of Plant Sciences, Acta Geologica Sinica (English Edition) and other internationally recognized journals. The authors came up with five SCI papers from the Palaeobotany and Palynology group in Inner Mongolia, and assisted in the compilation of a monograph. He has presided over one youth Fund project of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, participated in one major project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China as a major participant, and was selected into the "2019 Outstanding Young Teacher Training Program of Jilin University".

Brief introduction of the report: briefly introduces the principle and application scope of several commonly used tomography techniques; The principle, advantages, disadvantages and applications of neutron tomography are introduced.  This paper briefly introduces some achievements of neutron tomography in the study of paletebrates, paleinvertebrates and paleoplants. This paper introduces the research progress of the application of neutron tomography on the plant fossils of Daohugou in the middle Jurassic.
